We’re tying the knot, and we’d love nothing more than for you to help us celebrate! Join us for an afternoon of good vibes, great company, flowing drinks, a pizza truck serving up the goods 🍕, and tunes from our carefully curated (and slightly chaotic) Spotify playlist.
There’ll be games to keep the kids (and the kids-at-heart) entertained — so bring your appetite, your smiles and your inner child!

What you need to know
This isn't a traditional wedding - after we arrive at Athluain everything is relaxed and informal.
When: Saturday 23rd of August from 14:30 (bank holiday weekend) until 19:00.
Maybe the little ones will be ready to call it a day by 19:00, but if you're not ready to call it a night, neither are we! Hang out by the fire pit, grab a drink and let the good chats roll.
Where: Phil & Faith's home - Athluain - Nut Bush Lane, Torquay TQ2 6LF
What to wear: You do you. "English Summer Garden Party" is our theme and we want this to be a fun, relaxed day. We're keeping our fingers crossed for sun but the party will go ahead in the garden come rain or shine so please bear this in mind on the day (we will have a small "marquee" and other shelter in case of rain).
The bride and groom will be properly dressed for the occasion, and perhaps think summer smart casual rather than jeans and a t-shirt, but no one is being turned away because of what you are wearing! (If it's really hot, shorts might be an idea).
Ladies, no hat needed (unless it's a sun hat) and please leave the heels at home - wedges or flats mix much better with grass and gravel.
Children: We will have some lawn games to entertain the kids but please bring along anything you think will help give you a chance to enjoy some adult conversation.

Transport: We kindly ask that you travel by taxi as parking is generally very limited on Nut Bush Lane (and our drive will be full of Pizza Truck). If you do decide to drive to our house for the party, you will most likely need to park in a nearby street.
FAQs
Timings - You should have received a whatsapp message informing you that all the times have shifted by an hour. The Garden party was scheduled to start between 13:00 and 13:30, it will now start between 14:00 and 14:30.
Drinks - Did someone say free bar ?! All food and drink for the afternoon is provided. We'll have plenty of beer, cider, red, white and bubbly wine, and soft drinks on a "help yourself" basis - so dive right in!
Love is in the air... and recycling is in the bins! Please help us to keep the garden tidy by popping your empties in the right recycling spot.
Food - There will be nibbles available all afternoon, with fresh handmade woodfired pizza available from 15:00-17:00 from a pizza truck.
Come rain or shine - The Garden Party will be outdoors whatever the weather so please bear that in mind. If it's chilly remember an extra layer but if it's sunny you might need sunglasses, sun cream and a hat!
Dietary requirements - Please contact Faith if you have any special requirements as soon as possible so we can make arrangements.
Gifts - Since moving in together we've been flipping coins for whose toaster and dinner set to keep, we really do not need anything new. All we ask is to see your happy, smiling faces on our special day - please don't bring a gift.
